Projects
Perfect for students new to the pottery wheel! Throughout the session you'll learn the foundations of wheel throwing while creating a variety of functional pottery. Projects include bowls, mugs, a butter dish, spoon rest, travel tumbler, and a seasonal pumpkin tealight. Students will also learn trimming, handle pulling, surface decoration, glazing, and proper studio techniques.
Price- $572 (price listed includes taxes and fees)
Includes- bisque firings, glaze firings, all studio tools, ½ shelf space + 12.5 lbs of clay, underglaze bottles and 10 large bucket glazes
* Additional clay throughout the course can be purchased through the studio
Time- 8 weeks, 3 hour sessions
BONUS- 2 Open Studio sessions (3 hour time slots)- use this time to come in to work independently on your projects, practice, or glaze! These can also be used if you are absent from class!

Intermediate 8- Week Wheel Throwing

Projects
Designed for students who have completed a beginner wheel class and are comfortable centering clay independently. This session focuses on expanding your skills through more complex functional forms including lidded containers, soap dispensers, olive oil bottles, pie dishes, and seasonal pumpkins. Students will continue refining consistency, throwing larger forms, lids, spouts, trimming, and surface decoration techniques.
Price- $572 (price listed includes taxes and fees)
Includes- bisque firings, glaze firings, all studio tools, ½ shelf space + 12.5 lbs of clay, underglaze bottles and 10 large bucket glazes

Ready to elevate your pottery skills? Our Intermediate Wheel Throwing Class is designed specifically for those who have completed a beginner class—whether at our studio or another—and are ready to advance their techniques on the wheel.
In this class, you’ll focus exclusively on wheel throwing, building on your existing skills to tackle more complex forms and advanced techniques. We’ll cover essential topics such as:

This advanced class is designed for experienced wheel throwers looking to tackle larger, more technical forms and continue refining their craftsmanship. Projects include a beverage dispenser with hardware installation, a bread cloche, and two seasonal pumpkins utilizing different construction methods. Students are encouraged to push their skills while exploring advanced techniques, problem-solving, and individualized surface decoration.

Includes- bisque firings, glaze firings, all community tools, 1/2 shelf space + 12.5lbs of clay , specialty glaze bottles, underglaze bottles, 10 large bucket glazes

Ready to elevate your pottery skills? Our Advanced Wheel Throwing Class is designed for those with experience who are confident on the wheel and ready to take on new challenges. This class focuses on refining your technique, building complex forms, and experimenting with creative surface decoration.
Time- 8 weeks, 3 hour sessions
BONUS- 2 Open Studio sessions (3 hour time slots)- use this time to come in to work independently on your projects, practice, or glaze! This can be used as a replacement if you miss a class!

Projects
Explore hand-building techniques while creating both functional and decorative ceramic pieces. This session features carved luminaries, custom trinket shelves, decorative wall shelves, and seasonal pumpkins. Students will learn slab building, templates, carving, texture, attachments, and finishing techniques while having plenty of opportunities to personalize each project.
Price for Class- $572 (includes taxes and fees) We offer payment plans!
Includes: bisque firings, glaze firings, ½ shelf space, 18lbs of clay, 10 large glaze buckets + underglaze bottles

This class is great for total beginners and for those who’ve taken a hand-building class before but want more time to develop their skills and confidence before moving to advanced work.

Date Night Class
Looking for a unique and fun way to spend quality time with your partner, date, friend, or co-worker? Our Date Night Wheel Throwing + Hand-Building Class offers a delightful 2-hour-2.5 hour experience filled with creativity, connection, and a touch of indulgence.
Enjoy light refreshments and finger foods, or bring your favorite beverage (yes, it’s BYOB!) while diving into the world of wheel throwing or hand-building. In this hands-on class, you and your companion will create either bowls or cups from start to finish. Our expert instructor will guide you through every step, ensuring you experience the joys of pottery and craft beautiful pieces side by side.
To make your creations even more special, you’ll also have the opportunity to decorate your pieces with decals, stamps, and texture tools before they’re fired, adding a personal touch to your pottery. Before you go you will choose 1 of 10 glazes for your creation! Pick up is a minimum of 4 weeks and will need to schedule a time for pick up.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your connection, share a fun and creative activity, or simply try something new, this class provides a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere perfect for making lasting memories.
This class is for participants aged 21+ and is perfect for anyone—no prior pottery experience needed. Join us for an evening of creativity, laughter, and lasting memories.

One Time: Try-It Wheel Throwing Class
Curious about pottery and ready to give the wheel a spin? Our Try It Wheel Throwing Class is the perfect introduction to the art of ceramics!
In this 1.5-hour class, our expert instructor will guide you step-by-step through the exciting process of wheel throwing, helping you create your very own cup or bowl. It’s a fun, hands-on experience designed for anyone who’s ever wanted to explore the magic of working with clay.
Once you’ve crafted your piece, you’ll choose a glaze color, and we’ll take care of the rest—firing and glazing your creation so it’s ready for you to pick up and enjoy. No prior experience is needed; just bring your curiosity, excitement, and sense of adventure!
Whether you’re looking for a new creative outlet or a unique way to spend your time, this class is a fantastic way to try something new, get a little messy, and have a lot of fun. Come hang out, give it a try, and see what you can create!

Workshops
Looking for a fun, creative experience? Our Workshop Classes are perfect for everyone—whether you’re a total beginner or have some experience with clay!
These engaging 2-3 hour workshops are designed around completing a specific project or themed piece, making each session a unique and exciting adventure. In a friendly group setting, you’ll learn new skills as our expert instructor guides you through the process with a demonstration. Then, you’ll have the chance to make your own creation and glaze it, giving it a personal touch.
Our workshops change every week, with projects like mug-making, jewelry, planters, and more. There’s always something new to explore, so be sure to check out the schedule and find one that sparks your interest!
We provide all the tools and materials—you just bring your creativity and enthusiasm. Join us for a fun, hands-on experience, and take home a unique piece you’ll be proud to show off!

In order to be eligible for memberships you must first take (2) 8-week courses at BabyFace Studio.
Once you have taken the classes we will discuss if membership is the way to go!
