Whether you're just starting out or an experienced potter, we’re thrilled to have you join us! Our classes are designed for all skill levels and include everything you need to create something special. Each session details the level, experience required, pricing, and what’s included.

For our 8-week courses, we’re excited to offer flexible deposit payment plansreserve your spot with just a 50% deposit, and pay the balance by Week 4. It’s that easy!

  • 8 Week Potter's Wheel: Beginner Class

    Session Starts Week of August 24th and Runs through Mid October

    Offered: Friday’s (6-9pm)

    Join us for an exciting 8-week journey into the world of wheel throwing! This beginner-friendly class will introduce you to the fundamentals of working with clay on the wheel. Over the course of the class, you’ll master essential techniques and create basic forms such as cylinders, mugs, and bowls.

    Our expert instructor will be there every step of the way to help you turn your creative visions into tangible, beautiful pieces.

    In addition to wheel throwing, you'll also explore the basics of glazing, adding that perfect finishing touch to your creations. By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a solid foundation in pottery, a collection of your own crafted pieces, and the confidence to continue exploring your newfound skills. Come hang with us and make your artistic dreams a reality!

    Price- $534 (price listed includes taxes and fees)

    Includes- bisque firing, glaze firing, tools, ½ shelf space + 12.5 lbs of clay

  • 8 Week Potter's Wheel: Intermediate Class

    Offered: Tuesday’s 6-9pm, Wednesday’s 6-9pm, and Saturdays (12-3pm)

    Ready to elevate your pottery skills? Our Intermediate Wheel Throwing Class is designed specifically for those who have completed a beginner class—whether at our studio or another—and are ready to advance their techniques on the wheel.

    In this class, you’ll focus exclusively on wheel throwing, building on your existing skills to tackle more complex forms and advanced techniques. We’ll cover essential topics such as surface decoration, creating lidded objects, vases, large forms, and more. Additionally, we’ll dive into innovative glaze combinations to help you craft pieces that are both functional and artistic.

    This class provides a supportive environment that encourages experimentation and creativity. Our experienced instructors are here to guide you as you refine your techniques and bring your ideas to life. We strongly encourage you to bring your own inspirations and project ideas to the class. This is your opportunity to work on pieces you’ve envisioned while learning new techniques to enhance your craft.

  • 8 Week Potter's Wheel/Hand Building: Advanced/ Intermediate Class

    *This Class will not be offered during the August-October session- will be back in the winter!

    Ready to elevate your pottery skills? Our Advanced Wheel Throwing and Hand-Building Class combines the best of both worlds! This class is perfect for those looking to advance their techniques and explore either wheel throwing, hand-building, or both—the choice is yours. The class is structured to accommodate your interests and focus, whether you want to specialize in one area or explore both.

    This class focuses on bringing your own ideas and projects to life. You’ll work one-on-one with our expert instructor to refine your skills and execute your visions. As always, we’ll cover advanced techniques, including creating teapots, large forms, altered forms, and advanced surface decoration methods such as sgraffito, luster, decals, and more.

    This is a fun and engaging class where you’ll not only develop your own projects but also get to share and learn from other artists in the room. It’s ideal for those looking to advance their skills, bring their creative ideas to the table, and discover something new along the way.

  • 8-Week Beginner/Intermediate Wheel-Throwing Class

    Dates: Aug 25th, Sept 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, Oct 6th, 13th, 20th

    Days/Times: Mondays (6-9pm), Tuesday’s (12-3pm),

    This class is great for total beginners and for folks who’ve taken a class before but want more time with the basics before going full intermediate.

    We’ll focus on core skills like centering, pulling, and trimming—until they feel solid—and explore a few in-between projects like bud vases, wide bowls, and small matching sets to build confidence and consistency.

    Projects we aim to explore: bud vases, large bowls/stacking sets, To-Go Cups (tumblers with lids), espressp cups, trinket dishes

    Price for Class- $534 (includes taxes and fees)

  • One Time: Try-It Wheel Throwing Class

    Curious about pottery and ready to give the wheel a spin? Our Try It Wheel Throwing Class is the perfect introduction to the art of ceramics!

    In this 1.5-hour class, our expert instructor will guide you step-by-step through the exciting process of wheel throwing, helping you create your very own cup or bowl. It’s a fun, hands-on experience designed for anyone who’s ever wanted to explore the magic of working with clay.

    Once you’ve crafted your piece, you’ll choose a glaze color, and we’ll take care of the rest—firing and glazing your creation so it’s ready for you to pick up and enjoy. No prior experience is needed; just bring your curiosity, excitement, and sense of adventure!

    Whether you’re looking for a new creative outlet or a unique way to spend your time, this class is a fantastic way to try something new, get a little messy, and have a lot of fun. Come hang out, give it a try, and see what you can create!

    Time: Offered on the weekends, 1.5 hour classes

    Price- $81/person (price listed includes taxes and fees)

    All materials included: (clay, instruction, tools, firings, glazing)

    * You get to choose your glaze at the end! You pick, we glaze it for you + pick up is between 4-6 weeks

  • 4-Week Hand Building Intensive

    Sunday’s (12–3 PM) — NEW! 4-Week Hand-Building Intensive

    Dates: Aug 24th, Sept 7th, Sept 14th, Sept 21st

    Price- $425 (includes taxes + fees)

    ** Please note with this class it is not like the the 8-week classes. This intensive dives into hand-building 101. We cover a lot of information on hand-building techniques.

    The price of the class includes a full block of clay (25lbs), instruction, space to fire in the kilns (larger pots take more space), and for the studio to glaze all finished pieces.

    All levels welcome!

    We’re focusing on two major projects:

        •    Large coil pots (decorative or functional)

        •    Pinch pot pumpkins (because… fall!)

    We’ll spend about two weeks on each project, diving into form, planning, and technique.

    This is a strictly hand-building class—there’s no wheel. Students will choose glaze colors at the end, but glazing is not taught due to time. (Longer format hand-building classes are coming in the future!)

  • Date Night Class

    Looking for a unique and fun way to spend quality time with your partner, date, friend, or co-worker? Our Date Night Wheel Throwing + Hand-Building Class offers a delightful 2-hour-2.5 hour experience filled with creativity, connection, and a touch of indulgence.

    Enjoy light refreshments and finger foods, or bring your favorite beverage (yes, it’s BYOB!) while diving into the world of wheel throwing or hand-building. In this hands-on class, you and your companion will create either bowls or cups from start to finish. Our expert instructor will guide you through every step, ensuring you experience the joys of pottery and craft beautiful pieces side by side.

    To make your creations even more special, you’ll also have the opportunity to decorate your pieces with decals, stamps, and texture tools before they’re fired, adding a personal touch to your pottery. Before you go you will choose 1 of 10 glazes for your creation! Pick up is a minimum of 4 weeks and will need to schedule a time for pick up.

    Whether you’re looking to deepen your connection, share a fun and creative activity, or simply try something new, this class provides a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere perfect for making lasting memories.

    This class is for participants aged 21+ and is perfect for anyone—no prior pottery experience needed. Join us for an evening of creativity, laughter, and lasting memories.

    Price- $215 (for 2 people) (price listed includes taxes and fees)

    Includes- bisque firing, glaze firing, tools, clay, light refreshments and finger foods

    Time- 2 hours- 2.5hours

    Looking for a fun, creative experience? Our Workshop Classes are perfect for everyone—whether you’re a total beginner or have some experience with clay!

    These engaging 2-3 hour workshops are designed around completing a specific project or themed piece, making each session a unique and exciting adventure. In a friendly group setting, you’ll learn new skills as our expert instructor guides you through the process with a demonstration. Then, you’ll have the chance to make your own creation and glaze it, giving it a personal touch.

    Our workshops change every week, with projects like mug-making, jewelry, planters, and more. There’s always something new to explore, so be sure to check out the schedule and find one that sparks your interest!

    We provide all the tools and materials—you just bring your creativity and enthusiasm. Join us for a fun, hands-on experience, and take home a unique piece you’ll be proud to show off!

    Price- depends on the workshop- please check individual price for each workshop

    Dates- Offered in the afternoons on Saturdays and Sundays

    Includes- instruction, clay, firings, tools, underglazes for painting

    Time- 2-3 hours depending on the type of workshop (the schedule will specify how long the workshop is)

    Babyface Studio will be offering memberships this Summer June 2025. In order to be eligible for memberships you must first take (2) 8-week courses at BabyFace Studio.

    Experience the freedom of creativity with a membership at our ceramic pottery studio! Enjoy access during open studio hours to work independently on your projects and ideas. As a member, you’ll have use of all our equipment, bisque and glaze firings, as well as a dedicated shelf space for your work.
