Meet the Artists
BabyFace Studio and Serving Silver are two woman-owned businesses built on a shared passion for craftsmanship, creativity, and community. More than collaborators, we've been close friends for years, exhibiting together at markets/festivals and finding meaningful ways to combine our work. As a ceramic artist/sculptor (Kim) and metalsmith (Brandi), our mediums may be different, but we share a love for creating thoughtful, handcrafted pieces that are both beautiful and functional.
Our collaboration extends beyond markets, with Serving Silver also teaching collaborative workshops at BabyFace Studio. Together, we offer a thoughtfully curated collection of handmade ceramics and sustainable vintage flatware creations, providing shoppers with a cohesive selection of artisan-made gifts while celebrating the value of supporting local makers.

Founded by ceramic artist and sculptor Kim Canfield, BabyFace Studio began as BabyFace Mugs, a collection of whimsical, handcrafted ceramic mugs that quickly became recognized for their playful character and craftsmanship. As the business grew, it naturally evolved into BabyFace Studio, an award-winning brick-and-mortar ceramic studio in the heart of Manayunk, Philadelphia.
Kim is a nationally and internationally recognized ceramicist/sculptor whose work ranges from expressive figurative sculpture to functional pottery, with a signature focus on imaginative coffee mugs and thoughtfully crafted everyday objects. She holds a BFA as well as an MFA. While she now leads a thriving community studio offering pottery classes, workshops, and events, she remains an active working artist, creating new collections and exhibiting her work at festivals and markets throughout the region. In 2026, BabyFace Studio was honored with Best of Philly, recognizing the studio's commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and community.

Founded by metalsmith Brandi Benoit, Serving Silver transforms thrifted vintage flatware into one-of-a-kind jewelry and functional home accessories, giving forgotten heirlooms a beautiful new life. For the past five years, Brandi has specialized in bending, shaping, and repurposing vintage silver-plated and stainless steel flatware into handcrafted rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, coffee scoops, tea infusers, bottle openers, bookmarks, plant markers, and other unique everyday pieces.
Inspired by sustainability and timeless craftsmanship, each piece preserves the character and history of the original flatware while becoming something entirely new. In addition to creating her collections, Brandi enjoys connecting with customers by offering on-site customizations, resizing, and adjustments at markets, making each piece as personal as the story behind it.
